Pickleball in Markham

Pickleball made its way to Canada in the late 1970s and early 1980s, gaining popularity as a recreational activity and a competitive sport. The sport’s expansion in Canada mirrored its growth in the United States, driven by its accessibility and appeal to a diverse range of players.

KSSC PICKLEBALL BOOKING POLICY

All requests must be made in writing to KingSquareSportsCentre@gmail.com.

Members MAY NOT book courts for others, and others MAY NOT use a member’s name to book a court. Bookings will only be put under the person making the booking. Any member booking a court MUST show up. Any member found in violation will have their membership revoked with no refund.

Courts may be booked up to one calendar month in advance. For example, you may book the 15th of next month on the 15th of this month. Any booking requests made more than one calendar month in advance will not be processed.

A maximum of two courts per session can be booked by a single person. For Public Holidays, only one court per session and up to two courts in a day can be booked by a single person.

KSSC PICKLEBALL CANCELLATION POLICY

Bookings are non-refundable; we can only provide credit based on length of notice.

Requests made more than 7 days prior to the booking will be subject to a $5 dollar processing fee.

Requests made between 3 and 7 days prior to the booking will receive a 50% credit.

Requests made with less than 3 days prior to the booking will not be eligible for a credit.
